There is no bridge or airport on Comino, so every visit starts with a boat. These are the options.

What is the quickest way to reach the Blue Lagoon?

The shortest crossing is from Cirkewwa or Marfa at the northern tip of Malta, roughly 15 to 25 minutes. It suits you if you are staying in Mellieha or have a car.

Can I go from Sliema or St Julian's?

Yes. Cruises leave from the Sliema waterfront and usually follow the coast, often stopping at sea caves or the Crystal Lagoon. The ride is longer, so you get less time in the lagoon but a scenic trip.

What about Bugibba and St Paul's Bay?

Many cruises depart from the Bugibba and St Paul’s Bay area. It is a good middle option between Sliema and Cirkewwa.

Yes, boats run from Mgarr harbour on Gozo in season, and some Gozo tours include a Comino stop.
