Comino has very few facilities, so pack well.

Do I need water shoes?

They help. Much of the shoreline is rock, and the sandy spit is small.

Is there shade?

Very little. Hire an umbrella or bring a lightweight one, and use reef-safe sun cream.

Can I buy food and drinks?

There are kiosks near the lagoon in season, but prices are high and queues long. Bring water.

Should I bring snorkelling gear?

Yes, if you have it. The water is clear and fish gather around the rocks.

Do I need cash?

Kiosks and sunbed hire may prefer cash, so carry some euros.
